September 26th: The NSAA Appraisal Event "Ordinary or EXTRAORDINARY?"

Get your tickets today and be part of the excitement! The NSAA Antiques and Fine Art Appraisal event "Ordinary or EXTRAORDINARY?" will be held in our galleries on September 26, 2015! Four well known expert appraisers will be on hand, whom you're sure to recognize from the very popular PBS show!

James Callahan is Director of Asian Arts at James D. Julia, Inc., of Fairfield, Maine and he has appeared regularly on the Antiques Roadshow since 1996. Jim's appraisal of four Asian jade objects was the first to exceed $1,000,000.00 in the PBS show's history.

Colleene Fesko
will appraise 18th-20th century paintings, prints, sculpture and works on paper. On Antiques Roadshow, Colleene appraised a Frederick Remington painting for $600,000.00 to $800,000.00.

Peter Murphy of  P.D. Murphy Antiques is a highly respected Boston-based antiques dealer specializing in 18th, 19th and 20th century American and European decorative arts. His 25 years of experience includes working as an Americana Specialist for Skinner, Inc. in Boston.

Virginia Salem is Director of Fine Jewelry at Freeman's Auction in Philadelphia and is a popular personality and appraiser on the PBS series. Having a fine jewelry specialist will be unique opportunity for ticket holders to find out just what that heirloom brooch is worth!

This is a special opportunity to bring your treasures to the North Shore Arts Association for appraisal by nationally recognized PBS experts in:  paintings, sculpture, fine jewelry, Asian Arts, Americana and European antiques.  Enjoy the adventure of learning the history and value of a treasured family heirloom, or just a favorite flea market find.  See if your item is Ordinary or EXTRAORDINARY!
